
Tabletop Game Design
A tabletop game created on the basis of the book and T.V. show series, "One of us is Lying."
In this project, I analyzed the various narrative arcs within the franchise to identify how they could be translated into tangible objectives within the game. Additionally, I explored how the game could educate players about a cause I am passionate about, such as societal issues, environmental concerns, or political matters. My aim was to design a game akin to Clue, integrating elements from games like "Two Truths and a Lie" and traditional board games. I took into account the characters' personalities, the storyline, and the book's overarching theme, which addresses topics such as age groups, social constructs, and stereotypes. The characters are designed to be relatable, enhancing the game's appeal. I selected a color palette and incorporated texture elements that align with the mystery theme. Furthermore, I experimented with the layout of the board and the elimination sheets to enhance the gaming experience.
